What wallpaper materials do you offer?
Sabrina’s Canvas wallpaper is available in three materials:
- LUXE Traditional
- LUXE Peel & Stick
- Peel & Stick
Each material has a soft matte finish but differs in installation method, material feel, seam type, and removability. Please review our Wallpaper Material Guide before choosing your material.
What is peel-and-stick wallpaper?
Peel-and-stick wallpaper has an adhesive backing and does not require wallpaper paste. It is often chosen for renters, temporary spaces, smaller projects, or rooms where easier removal may be preferred.
It is best applied to clean, smooth, properly prepared walls.
What is traditional wallpaper?
LUXE Traditional is a premium non-woven, paste-the-wall wallpaper designed for long-term installations. Wallpaper paste is required and is not included.
Its panels meet edge to edge with no overlap. For larger projects, ceilings, stairways, or detailed spaces, we recommend working with a professional wallpaper installer.
Which material should I choose?
- LUXE Traditional is best suited to long-term installations where you want a premium, refined finish.
- LUXE Peel & Stick offers the same premium non-woven material with a self-adhesive backing for a removable installation.
- Peel & Stick is a slimmer vinyl option suited to rentals, temporary updates, and lower-commitment projects.
We recommend ordering a sample before choosing your material so you can compare the colour, texture, and finish in your own space.
Will peel-and-stick wallpaper damage my walls?
Peel-and-stick wallpaper is designed to be removable, but results can vary depending on wall condition, paint quality, wall texture, humidity, and removal method.
We cannot guarantee that removal will be damage-free in every space. To reduce the chance of paint lifting or residue, always follow the removal instructions carefully and remove slowly.
Can wallpaper be used on textured walls?
Wallpaper works best on smooth or lightly textured, clean, properly prepared walls.
Light texture may still show through the wallpaper and can affect adhesion. Heavily textured, bumpy, uneven, or damaged walls are not recommended.
If your walls are textured, we strongly recommend ordering a sample first and testing it in your space before placing a full order.
Where is your wallpaper made?
Sabrina’s Canvas designs are created by hand in Canada. Wallpaper orders are printed and fulfilled by our professional wallpaper production partner.

Should I order a sample before buying wallpaper?
Yes. We always recommend ordering a sample before placing a full wallpaper order.
A sample lets you see the colour, scale, artwork detail, and material in your own lighting. This is especially important because colours can look different from screen to screen.
Will the colours look exactly like they do online?
Not always. Screens can vary in brightness, colour, and contrast, so the colour you see online may not be an exact match to the printed wallpaper.
The best way to confirm colour is with a physical sample viewed in your own space, at different times of day.
How big are your samples?
Standard wallpaper samples include two views printed together on the same sample sheet:
- An approximately 8 × 11-inch section shown at actual size, so you can review the colour, artwork detail, and true pattern scale.
- A full-wall overview showing how the design repeats and appears across a larger wall.
For oversized designs, we recommend ordering a 2-foot panel sample so you can better evaluate the artwork and scale before placing a larger order.
Visit our Samples page to see an example and learn more about samples.
Do I need to order enough wallpaper all at once?
Yes. We recommend ordering enough wallpaper for your full project at one time.
Because wallpaper is printed to order, slight colour variation can happen between separate print batches. Ordering everything together helps keep the colour as consistent as possible across your project.
Measuring Info

How do I measure my wall for wallpaper?
Measure the full width and full height of the wallpapered area.
Do not subtract windows, doors, closet openings, trim, or other openings within that area. For angled or vaulted walls, use the tallest height needed.
Enter your measurements into our panel calculator for an estimate, and always round up to the next full panel. Please review our complete How to Measure guide before ordering.
What if I measure incorrectly?
Wallpaper is printed to order, so it is important to measure carefully before placing your order.
If you are unsure about your measurements, please contact us before ordering. We would much rather help you double-check first than have you end up short on wallpaper later.
Production & Shipping

How long will it take to receive my wallpaper?
- Wallpaper orders typically ship within 12 hours to 3 business days, depending on the size of the order.
- After shipping, estimated delivery for U.S. orders is 2–3 business days.
- These are estimates and may vary because of carrier delays, weather, holidays, or other circumstances outside our control. Tracking information will be emailed once your order ships.
Why does wallpaper take longer than regular products?
Wallpaper is made to order instead of pulled from a shelf. Each order is printed specifically for your project, which helps reduce waste and allows each design to be prepared with care.
Do you ship outside the United States?
At this time, wallpaper orders are available within the United States only.
We're working on offering shipping to Canada and other locations in the future.

Installation Info
Collapsible content
Can I install wallpaper myself?
Many people install wallpaper themselves, especially peel-and-stick wallpaper. However, wallpaper installation does require patience, careful measuring, and proper wall preparation.
For larger projects, traditional wallpaper, ceilings, stairways, or detailed rooms, we recommend hiring a professional wallpaper installer.
What surfaces work best for wallpaper?
Wallpaper applies best to clean, dry, smooth or lightly textured, properly prepared walls.
For best results, avoid applying wallpaper to heavily textured walls, dusty or dirty walls, freshly painted walls that have not fully cured, peeling or damaged paint, damp or humid surfaces, or uneven patched areas that have not been sanded smooth.
Can I apply wallpaper to freshly painted walls?
Fresh paint needs time to fully cure before wallpaper is installed.
Please follow your paint manufacturer’s curing recommendations before applying wallpaper. Installing too soon may affect adhesion or removal.
What if I make a mistake during installation?
Take your time and do not rush the installation process.
If you are unsure during installation, pause and review the instructions before continuing. For larger projects, we recommend contacting a professional installer.
If there is an issue with your order, please contact us with your order number and photos so we can help review the situation.
How do I remove peel-and-stick wallpaper?
Start at a corner and slowly peel the wallpaper away from the wall. Pull gently and take your time.
Removal results can vary depending on wall condition, paint quality, texture, humidity, and how long the wallpaper has been installed.
